“ THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. I went ahead and ordered two singles and the sauce on the side. That way they don’t get soggy all at the same time. Try a side of fries to dip them on all that leftover cheesy sauce. It’s an El Paso tradition. ”
“ It's an El Paso thing. Not everyone likes the rolled tacos but the ones who do love them. I personally love them. The fries aren't the best but you can eat the rolled tacos without them. The service is basically get in line order get your order number. Get called get your food take it to your table yourself. Condiments are by request. It's always busy it's a popular spot in El Paso. ”
“ This place very rarely disappoints. I know that it can be a little odd calling them tacos, but if you look passed the normal, it is more of a traditional and acquired taste. I was raised with this food and proud to say it. Thanks to the Mora family for continuing this tradition. Blessings. ”
“ I've been wanting to try Chico's tacos for years!!! I drove up from Dallas to visit my BFF and finally tried it Monday night. We got there about 30 minutes before closing time. The staff was friendly and while there a few more people arrived. We ordered the tacos and the hot dog with fries. Ok so not sure what to think about the way the hotdogs is presented once I got past that I thought it was pretty good. The little flautas were good... half way thru my flautas I was told it was ground beef. I could've sworn it was desebrada. I couldn't give it 5 stars because I haven't tried the rest of the menu items. I'll be back to try a hamburger. I'm curious if it will come in a hotdog bun. Lol ”
“ When in El Paso....you gotta try Chico’s. Been here twice over the years and I do wish they expanded to other parts. The rolled tacos with the sauce and cheese are great. The crinkle cut fries are cooked to perfection and crispy just the way all fries should be cooked. Plenty of parking at this location and lots of seating. ”
“ This Chico's Tacos location is the best, in my humble opinion, as their rolled tacos have more beef ("carne") than the ones served at their other locations. The dining area at this location is large and roomy. ”
“ Growing up in El Paso, Chico's Tacos is a total staple, though I can see how it might seem 'gross' to those who didn’t grow up on it. I haven't lived here in 15 years, and I've heard a lot of mixed opinions about the recent changes, but I was still excited to try it again after so long. Honestly, it still tastes pretty good! It’s not fancy or anything—just simple, cheap comfort food that locals love. People come here after a night out or just to enjoy the laid-back vibe and budget-friendly prices. Just a heads-up: it’s cash only, but there’s an ATM inside for convenience. Even with the changes, I thought my order—a single with fries and a cola—was delicious. It’s definitely not the healthiest choice, and the ingredients aren’t top-notch, but it’s still worth a visit when I’m back in town. ”
“ Absolutely amazing! Love the place. The food is delicious. We had double doubles with fries and a coke. 10/10 recommend. Had no issues placing the order, but it was cash only. ”
